BioYuGi was very busy in the EW Headquarters. He was sitting in his chair, his BodyBlade hooked up into the main computer. In front of him was a vast display of computer screens showing various dimensions. His eyes raced back and forth between the screens, trying to comprehend what was going on. Every few minutes he would lay down a ChangeCard or talk into a headset that had evolved out of his one cybernetic eye. All over the dimensions various expansion writers were being attacked.

While Dkilla was on a special mission, BioYuGi was trying to lead as many expansion writers as he could to safety. All over the different worlds, several had already been taken captive, but he had managed to get a few to the tower.  These few were SpontaniousCombustio, Babermirza, and Nybx, who were doing their best to help BioYuGi recover their members.

“Kres! Kres please come in! Please respond!” BioYuGi cried out to the expansion writer last seen in the Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann world. “Slag, no response.”

“Come on! Sponny, please check out the Red vs. Blue dimension and see if Ryu is okay.”

“Got it,” she said, typing in the coordinates for the dimension.

“Nybx, try Redacegod and UltimateJinchuriki again.”

“Okay,” he said, immediately trying to get contact with his communicator.

“Babermirza!”

“Yeah!” he said.

“Just stand there and stay away from the Self-Destruct button.”

“Hey there are times when I don’t destroy the world.”

“Fine, then check on our defenses and portals, we need to be prepared in case anything bad happens.”

“Okay,” he said running out of the room.

BioYuGi returned to the screen, grabbing a bottle of Mountain Dew and chugging it in one go. “I have to keep trying. I have to protect the members of the club.” He sighed with exhaustion. “I should check on Dkilla it has been a while since I checked on him.” He typed in some keys on the keyboard and then placed a ChangeCard from his DimensionDeck on his BodyBlade. “Dkilla please come in.” Instead of a response he was greeted with a loud noise entering his ear. “I know that sound. That is the sound that his portal makes. At least I know he is okay but I will not be able to contact him while he is moving through worlds.

“Bio! I have a lock on Red and Riki. They managed to take out a good number of those bad guys.” Nybx said.

“Good. I figured as much that they would be okay. I better contact them and get them back here. Red, Red please come in. Red please re..” His statement was cut short as suddenly all the lights in the room went out.

“What the heck?” Sponny said.

“This is not good,” BioYuGi said.

Suddenly, Babermirza came running into the room.

“Guys, something bad happened. I was working on the portals to make sure only expansion writers could come through, and all of a sudden they came in through the front door, guns firing!”

“What about the defenses? I had gun turrets installed along all entrances!” Nybx said.

“Not to mention my laser grid, they must have some specialists in the group.” BioYuGi said, standing up.

“I managed to get them behind some security doors, but they could get through it in a few minutes.” Babermirza said.

“What are we going to do now?” Sponny asked.

BioYuGi sat back down, and re-inserted his BodyBlade into the computer. With a grunt of pain he transferred some energy to the screen, powering it on and covering the room in an eerie blue glow. He stood back up, calmly removed his cloak, and placed it on the chair.

“We are not doing anything. I am going to stay here and hold them off while the three of you escape,” he said calmly.

“What! No!” Babermirza said. “Dude, we’re not going to leave you behind.”

“Right! We can fight, we can help defend this place,” said Sponny.

“We’re not just a club, Bio, we’re all friends. If we go down, we all go down.” Nybx said.

“That is exactly it. If they get us all here then they win. We need to get a message to Red and Riki, and there still might be expansion writers out there in danger. If you leave fast they might not come after you, thinking that I was the only one here. I can hold them off for a good while. I will not go down easy.”

“Dude, if you’re gonna give us that “heroic sacrifice cliché” crap, we’re gonna give you the “stubborn teammates” routine,” said Nybx.

“Just because you’re a cyborg doesn’t mean you aren’t human, we stick together til the end,” said Babermirza.

“And when this is all finished, we’ll head to the Negima world, and get all 31 students there,” said Sponny.

“You speak as if we are coming out of this alive.”

“That’s cause we are.” All were silent for what seemed like eternity.

“Alright, but if we are going to fight, we need some appropriate music.” BioYuGi placed a ChangeCard down and summoned a stereo system holding a Dragonforce CD. “I have always wanted to fight to Operation Ground and Pound.” He said with a chuckle.

Suddenly one of the enemy soldiers came in through the passageway. “I found them in here! Four writers and I think one’s the leader.” A large swarm of enemies came in, all in identical outfits. One stood out in front with dark brown hair. He spoke with a foreign accent.

“So you are the leader of this little organization eh?”

“I suppose I am. Is that a problem?”

“Oh yes, I am afraid that it is large problem. And who are these people with you, other writers?”

“Yes, but we’re not just writers.” Babermirza said, prepping a grenade.

“We’re comrades,” said Nybx, loading his Multigun.

“We’re friends,” said Sponny, flames appearing at her hands.

“We are EW, and we will fight,” said BioYuGi, placing five ChangeCards down and prepping his BodyBlade for battle.

“Fools, ATTACK!”

The enemies swarmed the group and started attacking. BioYuGi pressed play on the stereo and led his allies in the attack. Babermirza knocked over a table and threw a grenade, taking out three of the bad guys as he took cover. As a few more of them came behind him, he pulled several weapons out of his cloak and threw them at them. He chucked several throwing knives, some shuriken, several spare machines, and even a bowling ball. When he ran out of things to throw, he grabbed the table on the floor and started swinging it around.

Sponny and Nybx were standing side by side. Sponny surrounded them with a ring of fire and Nybx started shooting various bullets at the enemy. Some simply fell down; some were electrocuted, frozen, and flown through the wall. A few even shrunk or turned into girls and fainted because he switched up some bullets. The enemy shot back however and the duo had to duck down to avoid their shots. From her position, Sponny shot a high-focus fire shot at the ceiling above and caused a good section to fall on them

BioYuGi was more directly in the fray, slashing back and forth with his BodyBlade and kicking anybody who tried to get back up. He was trying to reach the captain of this squadron but he had moved to the back and more and more soldiers were getting in the way. “Alright then,” he said. “Time to break out the heavy artillery.” BioYuGi slammed his BodyBlade into the ground, causing several pillars of metal spikes to come out of the ground, utilizing the power of another ChangeCard to send out a wave of sonic energy at the incoming enemies, sending a surge of pain through their ears and halting them for a moment. “It has been a while since I brought this out.” With a large scream of pain another blade came out of his arm on the side. Then another, and another. Then his fist was covered with spikes and a large curved scythe appeared on the back. “BodyBlade Version 2.0”

With a new power he went back to his onslaught, shooting out shards of metal, firing lasers, and slicing down enemies. He turned his head to see how his crew was doing, and they were not faring as well. Babermirza was running out of weapons and had to resort to his fists, which was not his strongest suit. Nybx still had plenty of ammunition but Sponny’s fire had died down and several enemies were moving too fast for him to hit. He had a few marks on him from where he was struck before he or Sponny knocked a guy out. Likewise, Sponny was getting exhausted and was showing it. Her fire was getting weaker and because she was also using her matter-altering powers she was getting weaker.

While BioYuGi was distracted one of the soldiers came up and punched him in the face. As he struck back another stuck a small device on his cybernetic arm. Frantically he tried to pull it off but was brought to his knees when a powerful electric surge raced through his arm and eye. He panted on the ground as the captain came up to him.

“Do you like our EMP? We designed it exactly for you. Can’t use that arm anymore can we?”

“Damn you. But just because I cannot use my BodyBlade does not mean I cannot fight!” He then continued to fight, but he was noticeably much weaker, as were all the other members. One of the enemies had snuck behind Nybx and Sponny and shot Nybx in the arm several times, preventing him from shooting back. Instead he used his strength to throw his Multigun at the enemy, knocking him out. He then passed out from pain.

“Nybx!” Sponny yelled. With a large groan she focused her energy and used her matter alteration powers out of anger and ended up turning a large amount of the enemies into girls. The exertion caused her to revert back to 14 years of age, and she had to sit down to recover her energy.

“Bio! Nybx is down and Sponny is weak!” Babermirza said.

“Fine. Fall back then,” Babermirza and Sponny ran to the next room, followed by BioYuGi who grabbed Nybx on the way.

In the small room they regrouped. BioYuGi sat on the floor and placed Nybx down next to him, weak from fighting and exhaustion.

“Sponny, I know you are weak but I need you to hold the door closed the best you can. I was hoping it would not have to come to this. Babermirza, I think you need to do what you do best,” BioYuGi said.

“You mean?”

“Yes, blow up the tower. At least we will take those bastards with us.”

‘I got just the thing.” He then pulled out a small device that looked like a Rubix Cube. “I found this old device when I was checking the portals. It should blow up the tower with no problem, and with any luck will create a portal at the same time and transport us to safety.”

"Alright just do it!" BioYuGi commanded.

"Right." Babermirza responded he turned the Rubix cube thing a couple of times and it started making a loud beeping sound.

"That doesn't sound good." Babermirza said looking at the device, it suddenly let out a shock strong enough to power a computer and Babermirza passed out dropping the cube on the ground after being electrocuted.

"Great the one time he is told to blow up the tower he cannot do it." BioYuGi said angrily.

“BioYuGi, I can’t hold it any longer!” Sponny said as they exploded through the door and surrounded the group, Sponny reverting back to age 12 as they did.

"This is the end of the line Expansion Writers it is time to surrender and maybe Algeron will be easier on you if you do." The captain said.

"Surrender to you?  We would rather die." BioYuGi snapped.

"Suit yourself, men get ready to fire!" The captain shouted.

BioYuGi  hung his head and defeat and pulled Sponny close, doing his best to comfort the young girl. He looked to the wounded Nybx by his side, just regaining consciousness in time to see his demise. He then turned to the injured Babermirza still crackling with electricity. Finally he faced the captain with a defiant glare on his face.

“Expansion Writers forever.”

“YOU INSOLENT FOOL! KILL THEM!” The men cocked their weapons and fired upon them. BioYuGi looked straight at his death, but was for once in his life taken aback when an orange flash zoomed by him in a repeated zigzag motion. He stood still and spread his arms, letting dozens of bullets fall to the floor.

“WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!” the captain said.

Suddenly a portal appeared behind the figure. “We need to get out of here, go.”

BioYuGi stood, carrying Sponny and helping Nybx up. “What about Babermirza?!” he said, looking across the room at his friend.

“No time, go.”

BioYuGi grudgingly went forward with Sponny and Nybx in tow. The travel was instantaneous and the trio ended up in a small room that resembled a hotel. He laid Nybx down on a bed and used his abilities to help heal his arm. Sponny’s age would be returned to normal in time. The mysterious figure soon appeared.

“Hmm, I did not expect you to save us.” BioYuGi said.

“Like I had a choice. You were in deep; I thought the place was in good hands.”

“Trying to stop an entire organization is not exactly my forte, and they are quite skilled, Feorath.”

“Yeah, so what’s the situation?”

“They have captured most of the team. Besides the three of us, I know what Red and Riki are okay. Also Dkilla who is out trying to get help. And of course they just captured Babermirza. That means our forces are down by more than half, actually more like two-thirds.”

“Well, we can’t let them win,” Feorath said.

“Affirmative. We will rest, regroup, and then; we get our allies back,” BioYuGi agreed.

“And bring down that goddamn organization,” Nybx added with a groan.

“And get back to expanding!” Sponny concluded.

“Yes, we will win this fight. I will try to get in touch with Dkilla now; I hope he is doing alright.”
